Who does the work

One senior engineer. No account managers between you and the person writing the code.

  • BASEHouston, Texas. Remote everywhere.
  • STACK.NET, React, Next.js, Node, Python, TypeScript, Postgres, SQL Server, Azure, AWS, Firebase
  • LEGACYDelphi, VB, classic ASP, WinForms, old PHP, whatever is still running the business. If it compiles, we can read it and move it.

Hi. I'm Keith Willis. Bennett Works is me: the person you talk to on the first call, the person who scopes the work, and the person whose commits land in your repo.

I'm a working staff AI engineer at a software company, where I lead anything with AI in it: custom MCP connectors, agents that hand work to other agents, and features where a model reads real data and gives a straight answer with a source attached. Before that it was the same job without the AI: internal tools, customer-facing web apps, and the rewrite of a system that had been running the business for years. All of it on production systems paying customers use every day.

I'm known for turning work around fast without cutting corners. Once we've agreed on what to build, you see working software every week until it's live, not a status report.

Somewhere in there I decided an agent shouldn't need a browser to know what to work on next, so I built AG-Llama, a project manager made for AI agents from the ground up. It's my own product, built on my own time, and it's a good look at how I work.
